As more of the data and information we consume goes into digital publication, so are vehicle owner guides and manuals, and Mustang Mach-E will be joining the trend.
In this sneak peak teaser from Mach-E Vehicle Engineering Manager Robert Iorio, we see a couple screen shots of the digital interactive owner guide on the car’s central 15.5-inch digital display.
In the images, we can see the interactive guide offers a search bar at the top for owners to quickly get at the information they need, and several links directly on the vehicle to help narrow down their search. What we don’t see is how the textual information will be displayed or if the search results display any videos or other interactive content to convey information.
The digital form should allow Ford to make changes or clarifications as Mach-E engineering and production continues, and also allow Ford to add new entries as additional features and enhancements are added to Mustang Mach-E as over-the-air-updates. Ford says they can update all modules on Mach-E using WiFi or the vehicle’s built-in 4G LTE connection.
No word yet if the guide will be made available in paperback or PDF forms.
